$20 for 20 Students

This year, 20 talented, visionary, game changing South African university students participated in SAWIP’s 2014 program. With this tenth class of young leaders, our alumni community is 102 members strong!

The 7-month development program involves service projects and intense leadership development with 6 weeks of work experience and global exposure in Washington, D.C.

SAWIP inspires, prepares and supports emerging South African leaders to build a sustainable democracy with a peaceful and prosperous future for all its people.

After 20 years of political freedom, Nelson Mandela’s vision for South Africa remains an unfulfilled dream. There is over 30 percent unemployment and over 50 percent of its children live in poverty. A cohesive and inclusive society where its people can live dignified lives is yet to be achieved. Through SAWIP, you can help South Africa fully realize its constitution and secure a safe and positive future.

You can make a difference for only $20!
SAWIP needs to raise $200,000 for its 2015 Team. The cost for each student is about $10,000.
