The South Africa-Washington International Program has hosted its first two 2012 dialogue sessions. Leading thinkers, SAWIP alumni, the 2012 Team and invited guests have rigorously engaged on the topic: Active citizenship – Realising South Africa’s Full Potential’.

The aim of these dialogues has been to further SAWIP’s mission of inspiring and developing future generations of South African leaders who will successfully address transformation challenges in our post-conflict society in order to strengthen a sustainable, efficient democracy with active citizens. One dialogue was held in Johannesburg at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and one in Cape Town at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation.
