Kim has been overwhelmed with good wishes and expressions of gratitude since her decision to accept a position with the United States of America Consulate in Cape Town.

After nearly six years of service to SAWIP, during which time she stewarded five Teams through their seven month local and global leadership and service development experience, Kim formed lasting bonds with alumni, host families, university partners, supporters, boards and management. This bears testimony to the great care she put into her work and the many personal sacrifices she made to fulfil her role with professionalism and a generous spirit.

It is clear that Kim has made a real difference in many participants’ lives and equipped and inspired them to go out and live the SAWIP values and contribute towards a positive future for South Africa  –  a significant achievement.

We are confident that Kim and Dale will continue to be active in the SAWIP community and look forward to their ongoing contributions and friendship.

We wish to record SAWIP’s sincere gratitude and appreciation to Kim for the role she has played in building and implementing the SAWIP programme and in providing the link between the team members and the Board.

We have enjoyed working with Kim and congratulate her on her achievements with SAWIP as we wish her well in her new position which she takes up during January 2016.
