Have you ever stepped back to wonder what/who you’re carrying with you everywhere you go? If this is still too vague, have you ever stopped to think about what makes you, you. Who and what has shaped the kind of the person that you are?
This very same question was asked to the SAWIP team in one of our D.C. curriculum sessions. The same question and all the possible answers that I can think of still linger in my head quite often. I found that grappling with this question was quite empowering and led me to thinking about my own identity in ways that I never had before.
The aim of this post is to get you thinking about what’s in your bag, and how what’s in your bag shapes your thinking, and how you engage with your world. Please feel free to share any of your thoughts in the comments section.
