This past week we have had the honor and privilege of attending a panel discussion on exploring global perspectives ,diversity and lived experiences which was moderated by Janel George(Director of Federal Reproductive Rights and Health at the National Women’s Law Center) at the Centre for American progregress.The panel comprised of two students from SAWIP;Sipho and Khanyiso and two WIP(Washington-Ireland Programme) students.The conversatiotion hinged around what diversity means to each of the four participants and what their lived experiences were growing up in a post conflict nation.…Read more
