In life, we remember you.

We will remember your joy and how you lit up a room the second you walked into it.

We will remember your thoughtfulness, empathy, and kindness.

We will remember your dreams and hopes for this country.

We will remember your journey.

But mostly,

We will remember you.

You will live on, but we will remember you, and we will remain true to you.

In death you found freedom, none can fault you for that.

But I will make you this promise, in everything we do, we will work as hard as we can to fulfill your vision for this country. We will honour your memory.
