The South Africa-Washington International Program is helping to inspire, prepare and support South African youth to lead a sustainable democracy with a peaceful and prosperous future for all its citizens.

Introducing the SAWIP Class of 2012

The SAWIP Boards and Management are delighted to announce the newest SAWIP team, the Class of 2012.

This year SAWIP received one hundred and seventy five applications of which sixty potential candidates went through to the interview rounds. Thirty of these young leaders were shortlisted for the SAWIP selection camp, and fifteen students were ultimately selected for the SAWIP 2012 program. SAWIP management would like to thank all those who applied this year as well as all those who helped make the 2012 selection process a success.
